What, besides cancer, could a small bump in the ****** be?

My doctor and I found a small (frozen pea sized) bump in my ****** at an annual exam. My ultrasound isn’t for another couple of weeks and I was just wondering what it might be. I doubt that if the doctor thought it was cancer that she would schedule my ultrasound 3 weeks after we found it.

Fibrocystic disease would be the only thing. If it is a hard lump then it could well be cancer but if it is a softer squishy type lump hen it probably isn’t.

I have a small cyst (benign lump) in my ******….my doctor thought is was cancerous so I was in for my ultrasound like 3 days after my exam. You could just have a cyst! Just be strong and try not to worry about it! I know its hard!

A cyst is the most common among younger people. My sister had on and had it removed because of discomfort. And same with me, I was worried it was something bad, but the doctors reassured me I was not in the age ranger for ****** cancer. So Im pretty sure its just a cyst. nothing to worry about at all.
    Good luck with your ultrasound!
    Hope all is well!

Could be a lot of things other than cancer, a benign tumor, fatty tissue, a blocked milk duct, a cyst of some sort…. If your doctor was really worried I doubt they would have you wait several weeks for an ultrasound, they would have scheduled a biopsy by now most likely.

It is scary though and I wish you all the best.
    All the best.

hormone variations can cause lumps that appear and disappear also could be a cyst just be sure to proceed with test to make sure!

There are kinds of benign ****** conditions. You could have a cyst, a fibroadenoma, a fatty lipoma, encapsulated fat tissue or just normal, dense ****** tissue which feels lumpy!

If you are young, and still having menstrual periods, many times, a doctor will have you wait for a full cycle before investigating a ****** mass or lump. Most women have ******* cysts which will go away with a cycle. If a lump gets smaller or disappears, it is not a ****** cancer. The odds are very high that a lump in a young woman’s ****** is to due hormonal variations with her cycle. So, that could also be why your ultrasound is scheduled 3 weeks out…….Best wishes.
