Why cant I access the internet with my WLAN ?

Well I’m using an Acer Aspire.
It is able to use WLAN, but i cant seem accsess the ionternet with it. It has already detected that there is an acsess point, and it has also connected, but accsess to the internet is not available.
Is there a way to fix this problem, or any toturials to set it up ?

you may need to add the mac id of your laptop to the router.
hmm this might come in handy.
