How can I make my ivy thrive?

My ivy houseplant doesn’t seem very happy. It’s leaves are turning light in color and have little speckle spots.
She was right by the window with full sun so I’ve moved her away so she’ll have some indirect light and I’m watering when ever she starts getting dry. What am I doing wrong???
