She won’t deny.

Her perfect life?

It’s all been a lie

In her horrible life,

He was all she had,

The only thing

She’d wanted so bad.

And in her hands,

She holds a knife.

Painful memories,

Now flooding her mind.

Bringing her back,

To a darker place.

Bringing her back,

To that haunting face.

The one that’s bleeding,

And streamed with tears.

The one that’s screaming,

And running from her fears.

She holds the knife,

Up by her throat.

“To die without love,”

In blood she wrote.

All on the walls,

Blood dripping everywhere.

And her mistake,

She thought no one cared.

No more wrong,

Could she have been.

For now she can’t see,

The pain he’s in.

He loved her,

But she didn’t know.

He thought they were just friends,

So his love he did not show.

What he didn’t see,

Was that she loved him too.

And everyday,

Her love for him grew.

She picks up the phone,

Wanting to die.

He answers hello,

She whispers goodbye.

He rushes over,

Recognizing her voice.

Knowing that she’s,

Dying by choice.

He has to stop her,

But he’s blinded by tears.

He needs to show her,

His hidden love over the years.

He barges through the front door,

And races to her room.

Praying that he can stop,

Her impending doom.

He finds her covered in blood,

And sprawled on the floor.

She’s barely breathing,

Into pieces his heart is tore.

He tries to wake her,

From this endless sleep.

It’s her he wants,

Forever to keep.

To him,

She’s everything and more.

Whenever she’s near,

His heart does soar.

To this life,

She now barely clings.

And all the joy and hope,

To him she brings.

Her eyes open,

To see him standing.

She knows it’s not long,

Before her soul is landing.

“I love you.”

She whispers in his ear.

“I love you.”

He says as down his cheek runs a tear.

She grasps his hand,

And he holds her tighter.

And he can feel,

Her breath growing lighter.

Her eyes flicker,

Her hand goes lifeless.

He begs and pleads,

Cuz to him she’s priceless.

Without his love,

He cannot live.

His purpose in life,

Was his love to give.

With her gone,

He doesn’t know what to do.

So he grabs her knife,

And his wrists he slits too.

He buries his face,

In her long dark hair.

Leaving everyone else behind,

But he doesn’t care.

Without her,

He’d be so hollow.

So that’s why when she left,

He did follow.
